N.E.W. All-Stars

NEW All-Star League is not about disabilities. It’s not even about baseball. It’s about people. We celebrate those who have the courage to face adversity and strength to persevere when things don’t come easily. That’s the heart of a champion. So whether a player can knock the ball over the fence and round the bases without help, or a player needs hand-over-hand assistance to bat and someone to push the wheelchair, every one of our players is an All-Star.

HARVARD’S HUMAN FLOURISHING PROGRAM
The Human Flourishing Program at Harvard’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science has developed a measurement approach to human flourishing, based around five central domains: happiness and life satisfaction, mental and physical health, meaning and purpose, character and virtue, and close social relationships. Each of these is nearly universally desired, and each constitutes an end in and of itself.
